Deanna Presti, PT - Director of Physical Therapy
Deanna Presti is the Director of our Physical Therapy Department and has been with Coastal Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center for over six years as well as has over twenty one years of experience. She graduated with a Master’s in Physical Therapy and Bachelors in Health Science from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Deanna has extensive experience in evaluating and treatment of patients in a large variety of clinical settings which include outpatient orthopedics, sub-acute and acute care environments.
Deanna is compassionate and is cares about all of her patients and strives to develop a plan of care to meet their individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors.
Nadege Dervis, PT
Nadege Dervis is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Nadege has over eight years of experience. She is CPR certified, Vestibular Rehab Certified and experience in Kenisio taping (Kinesiology tape is a thin, stretchy, elastic cotton strip with an acrylic adhesive; Therapeutic kinesiology tape that can benefit a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, plus inflammatory conditions), and active release technique.
Nadege has treated patients with various orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. She has treated patients in both in-patient and out-patient facilities with conditions ranging from Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Heart Disease, and General Debility. Treatments include therapeutic exercises, joint mobilizations, functional mobility training and patient/family education.
Nadege speaks fluent Creole and conversational Spanish and French. She enjoys volunteering at the First Haitian Christian Church where she is president of the youth group.
With Nadege and our team of board certified orthopaedic surgeons, every patient will have an experienced professional throughout their physical therapy treatment.
Michael Russell, RT (R), (CT), (MRI)
Michael Russell has been part of our team for over twelve years. He is a highly experienced radiologic technologist who has been a licensed and certified for over twenty years. He has also been an Adjunct Instructor for Registered Technologists for Advanced ARRT Registries in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at Indian River Community College.
Michael’s professional accreditations include:

- ARRT Certification, Registered Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT Certification, Advanced Registry for Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- ARRT Certification, Advanced Registry for Computed Tomography
- Florida State Board of Education Teaching Certification (Radiologic Technology)
- American Red Cross CPR Certification
Michael treats all of our patients with care, respect and with compassion; assuring every patient’s experience while undergoing an MRI is done in a comfortable and professional environment.
Michael also likes to be involved in the community. He participates and volunteers at Indian River Presbyterian Church. He has volunteered coaching youth sports on the Treasure Coast, and has participated in several Habitat for Humanity builds. Michael enjoys spending time traveling with his wife and restoring and showing classic/muscle cars. He is active in several local fishing clubs and also enjoys fishing, camping, water sports, auto racing and reading.
